The End of an Open.

The CrossFit Open has come and gone; some of you didn’t even know about it and some of you lost a little piece of your soul participating in it. 🙂 Congrats to all of you who chose to put your fitness to the test and measure it against the most fit community on Earth. I saw incredible heart and desire from so many of you and it was inspiring. I’m particularly proud when fatigue sets in and heart is all that’s left; the techniques stay solid and consistent. It’s a tribute to your diligence throughout the year.

I’m looking forward to the Fair Fight Championship already. Each year The Open happens, I’m more and more convinced that FFC is how competitions should really be done and are a heck of a lot more fun (and considering this year, much more challenging).

The next thing on the agenda is ASSESSMENT SEASON!! 🙌 …you think you know what that’s about– but we’re going to try something new this year. We’re going to try a one week on, one week off format instead of cramming 15 assessments into a two week (3 with makeups) timeframe. It seems difficult to perform optimally for 2 straight weeks, daily… so I’m hoping this keeps people engaged longer and makes the tests a little less demanding physically and mentally. I’m also hoping it gives us a short period of time between re-tests in order to clean up a technique, add strength, or make up for an off-day. I’ll be, AS ALWAYS, desirous of your feedback, especially those of you who have been down the Assessment Season road a few times.

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.


All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
