How do we create the program (workouts) at The Standard?

The metcons we use at The Standard can seem completely random, like we just reached into a hat and pulled movements and numbers of reps out and put them together. While we DO want things to vary regularly, we ALSO DEMAND that they have intention and purpose. There is a LOT of planning and thought being put into these seemingly random workouts and Nathan, from Level Method, put together a blog about it. A BIG addition to the gym arrived this week and some of you have already gotten to play with it a little bit. I believe it’s important to continually re-invest into the experience at The Standard and part of that is equipment. This is the most expensive thing I’ve bought in quite a while, but I think it’s going to be SUPER worth it as pull-ups arrive faster, abs grow stronger, shoulders get healthier, and SOOO much more. A video will come this week about all of the capabilities that thing has. I’m excited to show you guys what to use it for. Bro stuff, but with value. 🙂 🙌

All of the workouts for the week are available in ChalkIt, but here they are in photo form… (If you look ahead and plan, make sure you don’t plan before Sunday… I reserve the right to change things around specifically if there is weather expected)

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
