



Congrats to our Quarterfinalist athletes! They qualified to participate by placing in the top 10% of all North America in The Open. They completed 5 separate workouts over the weekend and it was so fun to see their skills, strength, and grit on display. Give them a high five if you see them around this week. 🙂
ASSESSMENT SEASON starts next week. It will cover all of April. The week of the 4th will be typical assessments week 1, then we’ll have our regular LM programming week of the 11th, then week 2 on the 18th, regular on 25th, 3rd and final week May 2nd. This is an opportunity to take your fitness temperature. It’s just like going to the doctor. Did your blood pressure go up or down? Did you gain a few pounds? Lose them? How do you lungs work? Are your ears healthy? That’s all we’re doing with Assessment Season. We celebrate BIG TIME when we achieve new things, but when we level down, that doesn’t mean anything necessarily. We’re just taking our temperature so we know how to adjust for better performances in the future. Don’t put more pressure on yourself than necessary. This is the first time we’re running it like this, so your feedback is welcome as long as you’re not rude about it. 🙂
